Having given up on the idea of marriage, 25-year-old Lucy Flaud volunteers her time to help Lancaster County’s Plain and fancy communities, alike.  Her search for redemption leads her to Englisher Dale Wyeth.  Dale wants to live off-the-grid and sets his sights on the Old Order Amish way of life.  Lucy struggles to understand God’s will as she grows closer to the man she should not love.
