Summer Learning: A Universe of Stories

SUMMER FOOD & FUN
Free Lunch for kids: Tuesdays at 12pm

As a participant in the Summer Food service Program, the library will serve lunch from 12 noon – 1 pm on Tuesdays from June 11 – July 9 to any child for free. Join us for some good food and fun activities to follow.

OPEN BLOCK PLAY
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 12-3pm

Come inside to beat the heat and play with our Lego building center, Keva Planks, and an amazing selection of wooden blocks.  No signup necessary, just show up!

Acquire new skills with these monthly classes

FREE MOVIE @ Laurel Arts Dance Center
Sunday June 23rd @ 2:30pm

Come see “Mary Poppins Returns” (PG, 2018) at the Laurel Arts Dance and Education Center at the Georgian Place. Bring your own picnic lunch and join a kite flying activity and free drop-in dance session starting at 1pm. This is a collaborative effort of the Biesecker Library, Laurel Arts, and Somerset Inc called “Films on the Town”. SIGN UP online.

WRITER’S GROUP

Join us for a monthly Writer’s Group which meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month. The group was started by Ms. Maeve Murray, who holds a Master of Arts in Creative Writing from Carlow University and is currently being moderated by Debra Kinney and Patricia Kuna. STE(A)M Workshop for Grades K-5
Meets again starting in September 2019
