Ages 3 and up can also try Magna–Tiles. These tiles are magnetic, so they stick on every side. Children can build and explore the concepts of symmetry, area, perimeter, angles and more.
These sets are available for In Library Use Only. Please check at the Children’s or Main Library Circulation desk to use one. As part of our participation in this grant, we’d like to document their creative work in a photo, so please leave their last structure standing or let us know if there’s another structure that you’d like us to record. These will be photos of the structures only.
Special thanks goes out to the Office of Commonwealth Libraries for funding this “Cruise Into Kindergarten” program grant for toys!
