Mary Catherine defies doctor’s orders by moving to Uganda to help a new orphanage, despite the heart transplant Mary so desperately needs.  When Major League Baseball player Marcus Dillinger suspects the truth, he vows to take Mary to a United States hospital for help.  Meanwhile, Mary’s friends struggle to hold on to their own relationship in the face of a possible wedding.
