The apothecary of a floating bookstore is known for selecting just the right book for every customer, but there is one page he has never dared to read: the last letter written by the long-lost love of his life.  Upon finally opening the letter, Monsieur Perdu takes his book-barge from the Seine to the south of France in an attempt to write a peaceful ending to the love story that broke his heart.
