MSBPL Updates:

 

 

Our Summer Reading Program registration begins May 30th.  Children ages Pre-K through 5th grades will Dig Into Reading and youth grades 6-12 will explore Beneath the Surface.  SRP runs from June 7th through August 2nd.  Reading logs will be available May 30th and prizes will be awarded.  Make plans now to join us for fun, friends and interesting activites.

 

  • The First Tuesday Book Club's next meeting is Tuesday, June 4th, 2013 at 7 p.m. Our book for June is Sunflower and the Secret by Lisa See. New members are always welcome.

 

  • Bound to Read Book Club will meet on Wednesday, June 5th at 6:30 p.m. Our book for June is Mountains Beyond Mountains by Tracy Kidder. Just ask at the front desk for a copy of the book. Join us for this new, non-fiction book club!

 

  • The Fourth Tuesday Book Club's next meeting is Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 7 p.m.  Our book for May is The Sherlockian by Graham Moore.  New members are always welcome.

 

  • Sheetz Coupon Books are available at the library.  Each book costs $10 and contains $25 worth of food and drink coupons good at all Sheetz locations.  Coupon books may be purchased at the circulation desk during library library hours.  All proceeds benefit patron services.

 

  • We will be having a Used Book Sale Friday, June 7th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m and Saturday, June 8th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  The sale will be held in the lower level of the library and the public is welcome to use the Church Street entrance.  Included in the sale will be fiction and non-fiction books, paperbacks and magazines. All proceeds will support programs at the library.

(Closed New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day,

Christmas Eve, and Christmas.)

 

 

Material for return needs to be placed in the bookdrop, returned at the main desk

or renewed before 5:45 p.m. on the day it is due in order to avoid fines.

 

 

 

 

We collect unwanted cellular phones, laptops, digital cameras and mp3 players, as well as empty ink and toner cartridges. We send them to a reputable recycling firm and receive funds for the  library. 

Please bring them to the main desk.
