Children: iPad Learning and Games

ipadWe have loaded up two iPads with some great educational apps and games!
The iPads are locked inside kid-friendly cases and are for in-library use only. They’re located at a dedicated table in the corner of our Children’s Library.
Parents will have to sign a digital consent form at the front desk before their children are allowed to use this learning resource as per the Library’s Acceptable Internet and Technology Use Policy.

 


FEATURED APP: abcmouse
ABCmouse.com Early Learning Academy is a subscription-based online education program for children ages 2–7 and is one of many apps that we offer on the iPads. Normally you would have to pay for access to this resource, but using it at the library provides free access to thousands of learning activities on the ABCmouse.com website or mobile app for tablet or smartphone. Subjects covered include reading, math, science, social studies, music, and art. There are no ads or external links when using this free digital learning resource.
